Kathy got rid of the laminate counter and fiberglass sink and updated the laundry room with granite counters and a stainless steel sink.

The door that hides the ironing board can swing open further than standard hinges so that it is out of the way when you are ironing.

The hidden ironing board drops out when needed and swivels so that it can be placed in any desired position.

It is wired with electric and has a resting spot for the iron to cool down.

This tall cabinet has a secret.

Unlock the tires and you can roll the cart out of its base.

To move the sorting drawers just flip up the base board.

Kathy's cart can be turned to the wall to hide the laundry baskets if desired. The cart is mounted on non scuff neoprene wheels.

Kathy's had Broken Tree create a custom laundry cart for baskets that she picked out for this project.

Kathy's sorting drawers need to be removable so they could access the main water shut off.

Kathy's 6 laundry sorting drawers are 12 inches wide 12 inches tall and 27 inches deep the same number of cubic feet of an average laundry basket.

The door is hinged about 4 inches in from the actuall hinges.

In Kathy's laundry room we decided to keep the existing cabinets and inorder to have access to the corner cabinets we have to modify the door in the corner.

Kathy's hall tree in the laundry room has a pull out drawer for shoes so you dont have to crouch on the floor to get to the back of the cabinet.

It has recessed lighting in the top that displays everything on its glass shelves beautifully. All of the doors and drawers operate with soft close hardware. And the hardware selected by Linda was perfect for the scale of the piece.

With the design from Linda and Dave’s designer Henry (who is the best designer in Cincinnati) I created the entertainment center/dresser that Linda and Dave wanted for their bedroom remodel

Jen and Eric’s nightstands were made to match the style and color of the existing bedroom furniture.

Isn’t Brianna cute.

Jackie’s rolling cabinet was made with neoprene locking wheels and design to accommodate a slushy machine. It also has an antique mocha finish that matches the existing furniture of the room it is in.

Todd’s cabinets were designed with Todd and his wife Chrissy. They wanted cabinets that had a mix of contemporary and traditional design elements.

Tino and Angie's entertainment stand was a great opportunity to do a good deal of intricate trim work. It was made to match existing furniture in their bedroom to act as entertainment stand underneath their flat screen that hangs on the wall. All of the trim was made from scratch in my shop.

The customer's key cabinet was made to store the three sets of truck keys for each of the trucks in their fleet. Made from solid oak and locked with pad locks, it is a secure place for all the keys

– It was also designed to store the fuel receipts and cell phones for each truck.
Steve's wall unit and desk with mail cubbies was designed to fit his new flat screen TV with a place for the storage of his electronics. There are 2 glass doors to make use of the electronics while the doors are closed.
Steve's wall unit and desk with mail cubbies will also provide a place for them to work when they need to sort mail and pay bills.
Kristie's media cabinet and wall mounted DVD shelves – the shelves were made to be shallow to make it easy grab the DVDs. Also the depth of the shelves will also help keep the shelves out of view when movie curtains are hung in front of them.

Kristie's media cabinet and wall mounted DVD shelves – The cabinet was designed to the style Kristie wanted with 100% acoustic speaker fabric on the doors so it would hide the DVD player and other electronics without affect the use of the remote controls.

Kitchen hutch restoration - AFTER – After a few weeks of work this piece was restored and painted. The paint was chosen to match the blue that is on the pullout counter top. It also has the original cutting board and flour drawer and a tin bottom drawer.
Kitchen hutch restoration - BEFORE – This hutch was salvaged from a green house that was going out of business it was in bad shape but the solid oak frame was intact.
This entertainment center was designed to be rustic and industrial. It was created using the design of crated used to ship aircraft engine parts and can be configured in many different ways.

Jason’s entertainment center was designed using cherry to match the style of the rest of the furniture that broken tree has created for him. Functionally it can also fit a 50” flat screen and break down into 6 pieces for easy transportation.
Matt’s wine rack was made based on a design that he and I worked on together. It was also made to fit in the corner of his dinning room beneath two pieces of art that hang on adjacent walls.
Kristie’s laundry room shelf, curtain rod and peg board were all part of the redesign of the room to give it more storage and functionality.
All of the displays that Tara could find for swords were enclosed in glass. She wanted one that had an open face for her husband’s West Point sword. This sword display was designed to be simple so that the sword was the focal point and then stained to match the wood in room in which it was to be placed.
Some time after completing Peggie’s entertainment center her and her husband decided to update to a LCD T.V. but they still wanted the screen at the same height as their projection T.V. To accomplish this Broken Tree built an addition that contained two more cabinet doors and a decorative shelf.
Peggie’s entertainment center
was made to fit in-between the fire place on the right and the sliding glass door on the left. The size was also created to fit their larger projection TV with cabinets for surround sound, DVD player and x-box.
